Bidra med feedbackThe food here was absolutely delicious! We were seated in the bar area, which was a bit cramped, especially since it got quite busy during our visit. Interestingly, there’s a nearby cafeteria that could accommodate a lot more guests, but it was closed, leaving patrons to crowd into the bar instead. Despite the tight seating, we all really enjoyed our meals. I had the pizza, and it was fantastic! We were staying at a nearby campsite, so it was wonderful to have someone else prepare our food while we enjoyed a nice beer on tap. Even with its small size, the place offers a variety of options. I would definitely come back!
The restaurant offers a diverse menu at prices that are lower than other places in the village. It also features a variety of affordable souvenirs and unique items.
I visited on March 22, 2023, at 7:14 PM. The food is decent—nothing exceptional, but not terrible either. They serve Starbucks coffee, which is a plus. The seating area is a bit small considering the number of patrons. Overall, it's a pleasant place to dine.
Hours: Breakfast 7am 10:45am Located inside the general store in the marketplace area, next to Yavapai lodge and post office. Bagel sandwich as expected Pizza this is on a pre made piece of refrigerated bread then reheated. It came out lukewarm Loaded hotdog okay no complaints can't mess up a hot dog. Chipotle sandwich better out of everything. Reheated probably frozen chicken breast. Lunch Dinner 11am 5pm With limited options in the canyon. CVM gets the job done quickly if you're not trying to pay $20 for a breakfast buffet at Yavapai lodge. It's also easy to buy any drink you want from the general store.
Oh my goodness. Wished to see the Grand Canyon for over 50 years! YES! Just saw it! Kids hangry. What's around? Gotta' have a few places to eat or food trucks, I mean it's one of the world's most famous places, right?? WRONG. 1 deli. The lines weren't too long so the wait wasn't too long. Food quality of a theme park, though. Edible but nothing memorable. It did, however, save the day because it was innocuous enough to be swallowed and let us carry on to a short hike but wow please please get better quality ingredients. It would have been better to stop at a market on the way in and get our own sandwich makings it would have cost less and tasted better. Owners probably don't care, they are the only choice at this location in the park, so they don't have to change a thing. Of course I didn't take a picture, we wished to forget this meal.
