Boarders Inn Suites By Cobblestone Hotels Grand Island

We stayed over the weekend for state softball. The rooms were clean, the beds were pretty good and the breakfast was nice. It also started at an earlier time than most other hotels I’ve stayed at so that was a plus, especially since we had two early mornings. Housekeeping came every day we were there, which was nice to come back to the beds made and clean towels in the bathroom. Front seat was more than accommodating for our group. The courtyard was nice and had a decent grill for us to use. The girls enjoyed the pool, which was pretty large! Overall we had a great time!

Our stay at Boarders inn was fantastic! I’m not someone that usually takes the time to write reviews, but this hotel/staff definitely deserve it! Jamie Michelle at the front desk were both very kind accommodating; I had frozen breast milk that needed to be in a freezer (my room only had a fridge) so they offered to store it for me in another freezer they had available. The rooms are updated clean. Pool hot tub were great, my kids had a blast! The pool was actually warm adults were able to even enjoy it! The complimentary breakfast was great, with many options. Check out isn’t until noon so that’s a bonus as well. 100% recommend this place would stay again!

Stayed here mainly because there wasn't a lot of choices for motels in the area. Felt the rooms were overpriced, but again, not much of a choice. The clerk was polite, and gave me a room on the 2nd floor. I grabbed a cart, put all my belongings on it and headed toward my room. Had a hard time locating the elevator, probably because there was none. How convenient that she failed to mention this before I paid. The room appeared to be nice, and the beds were comfortable. However, the pillows were very small, as was the bathroom. I had to keep jiggling the handle on the commode so it would stop running. Not much room in the shower either, and the entire room was poorly lit. Walls are thin, so everytime the toilet flushed in the next room, you could hear it. Come morning, the breakfast wasn't too bad. When my wife and I left in the morning, and stepped outside, the air reeked of what I found our was due to cattle in the area. Needless to say, I will not be returning here, ever.

I have never been treated so rudely then I was by the front seat clerk and then especially the manager PAM. I called and made the reservation and then then two days before the reservation I had to have emergency dental surgery and needed to cancel the room! I called once home and able to speak and was informed rudely that I was 4 hours too late to cancel and would be charged. I called the manager PAM the next day and she was rude and nasty and refused to help out. Told me if I found someone to rent the room I would get refunded. So that’s what I did. I found another teammates family needing a room. I called to confirm they still showed my reservation and she said they did and that the new family could have the room but would have to pay me as my card had already been charged. I said that’s fine. When the family called they were told they had refunded me one day and canceled my reservation and charged me for the second nonrefundable. And it was no longer available. Clearly so PAM could pocket my money. Scammers! By the other reviews it seems Pam and staff are the problem! Don’t give these kind of people your money.

Stayed two nights with boys. Room was clean and comfortable. Everything worked well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool and Hot Tub were perfect. Will stay again.
