Bidra med feedbackWhile I'm disappointed that the green beans and dirty rice have been taken off the menu, I still can’t resist the tenders and keep returning for more. I suppose the red beans and rice will now be my go-to choice. I haven't encountered a bad, old, or cold piece of chicken or tenders, which is part of what makes me a fan of Popeye's. This particular location in Grand Island has been a great addition to 'food row' and has been busy over the past two years. However, they haven't been able to open the dining room, so it’s best to order on the app and either pick up or use the drive-thru. The location is convenient, but the entrance is a bit awkward, likely designed to avoid complicating an already tricky parking lot situation across the street, along with a nearby traffic light. Nevertheless, as long as I can enjoy my tenders, I’m happy! Treat yourself to some Popeye's!
The food was excellent! However, the customer service felt a bit over the top. Our cashier shared more personal details about her life than necessary. I noticed a few customers who came in after we received our food were checking to see if she was on break, and other employees assured them she was indeed on break. Don't get me wrong, she was very polite, but she crossed the line into intrusive. Still, I’m giving the restaurant a 5-star rating because the food was served hot and the portions were generous. The prices were also great. I just felt a bit uncomfortable with the lady who referred to herself as an "OG" since she had been there since the restaurant opened.
I had the pleasure to eat popeyes fired huh from coast to coast and border. chicago 1982 was my introduction to popeyes. To this day was the best roasted chicken and red beans and rice in natchez, mississippi. today in grand island, nebraska, natchez has to go to the second place. my fried chicken was the best fried chicken I've ever eaten, and the red beans and rice were also the best I've ever eaten. thanks to many, employees of popeyes for the best work ever to do and my eating experience today was the best I had in very long time.
The service was incredibly slow. I decided to give this place another chance, thinking that some days can be busy. However, during my second visit, I waited nearly 30 minutes for a three-piece tender dinner. While waiting, I noticed a young woman in the kitchen pulling a pan out, tasting something with her finger, and then continuing to handle food without washing her hands or wearing gloves. That's pretty concerning. The manager seemed like a nice guy, but it’s clear that he needs to find better staff.
I’m really frustrated with this place. I attempted to visit a few days ago and was greeted through the intercom, with someone promising to assist me in a few minutes. However, after that, nobody returned to the intercom. Ten minutes passed, and even though there were workers in the building, I went around to try again—still nothing and not even a greeting. During my time there, four other customers also left due to the lack of service. I wanted to return today, but they didn’t give me my cookies! This whole situation is just a mess. I tried calling about the cookies, but they wouldn’t answer the phone. Additionally, the potatoes and the gravy container were only half full, and my son received a smaller portion than expected! What’s going on, Popeyes?
