Quality Inn And Conference Center I-80 Grand Island

Ok place to stay, decent breakfast but terrible customer service.We left a teddy bear behind. A week later while driving back home, we stopped to get it back. Stood there for >15 mins while she went to go get it, found out the housekeeper locked it up in her locker and wasn't working today. They offered to mail it back which I assumed, they would cover the cost since they didn't ask and I was standing in their lobby trying to get it.No, there was a 10 shipping fee and a 5 dollar handling fee that they charged our card.I called to complain since we were there in person trying to retrieve our item but due to their issues, they were unable to provide it to me while I was there.The manager said she'd investigate and watch the cameras if needed. They never followed up.

Rooms were really clean! We also used the pool and hot tub at this hotel. Pool was nice and they had towels there for your use. Not too far from a bunch of restaurants and stores.Rooms: 5/5

There were kids of ALL ages running around the ENTIRE hotel unattended!!! Up and down the elevator up and down the halls. Two of the workers at the front desk had different reasons why it went off the first time! (Also, RUDE to a few guest The fire department came and gave the all clear and the party was allowed to continue only to set the alarm off again!! Myself and I know one other family had smaller children that had meltdowns from being scared of the alarm going off! No discount or refund was offered! Nice comfy room. Great breakfast. Only negative a big negative is that we reported a problem with our door twice and nothing was done about it. If not slammed, the door would not close all the way. Really quite dingy. Smells of smoke and beer. The night we checked in there was a huge teenage birthday party, one guest of which pulled a fire alarm and brought the fire department out. Many of the guests were screaming near the pool area and when we got off the elevator to go to our room (with our 2 young kids! a man was just lying on a chair in the hallway acting very oddly. Previous reviews had made me expect something basic but overall clean and pleasant. Instead I feel only somewhat safe and am deeply disappointed by the noises and smells. It’s a shame because it’s so close to the 80 and we were trying to find a place that would let us get back on the road easily the following morning. Never booking here again.
