Bidra med feedbackFirst time eating here and i will be returning!! The food was absolutely incredible and everything is cooked fresh.
Stopped by Angie’ while visiting Texas. I must say for my first time having African food, it was amazing. Everything was fresh and seasoned to perfection. The spice level was out of my norm but I was so down to try it and I’m so happy I did. The service was great. The drinks were great. Overall, my partner and I were extremely satisfied.
I can say I will never eat here again and I advise if anybody doesn’t wanna get sick you shouldn’t eat here neither if I could rate this place zero stars.Angie’s food is suppose to be fresh everyday and let me tell you that’s a lie how do you sell spoiled food to your customers ?What if we got sick from the spoiled food you served and not to mention you could smell the spoiled mess through the container. How do cassava leaf go spoiled ?It smelled like it’s been spoiled for days on days.Angie how do you call yourself a restaurant and don’t care about your customers ? Every review on here is bad that should tell you something. But anyways don’t eat here the money is not worth it for a stomach ache or even food poisoning her customers service when somebody says her food is spoiled is horrible no apology no refund no nothing so again take your money else where.P.s the picture you can see the soup has lost it color cause it’s *spoiled* I wish you all can smell it through the picture, the consistency is the clumpiest soup I ever seen. Never again.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!Decided to finally leave a review because this place never disappoints. Great food with great vibes and hospitality. I feel at home when I’m in here rather than a restaurant.
Angie took great care of me and my cousins! It was our first time trying West African food and we loved it! We went in with a few recommendations from a friend and then Angie helped make sure we tried as much as we could. We had both types of fufus (plantain and yam), peanut butter soup, jollof rice, and goat stew. All of it was delicious and unique but had flavors that reminded us slightly that we had before. The goat stew reminded me of Japanese curry. The yam fufu reminded me of mashed potatoes, and the plantain fufu reminded of mochi. We even tried the cow skin which was fatty and flavorful in a way that reminded me of beef tendon in Taiwanese beef noodle soup. But all of it was new in a great way. We finished on a sweet note with some puff puffs for dessert!
