Bidra med feedbackLoved the chicken carbonara pasta, excellently made. The bread kept on coming as many times we asked for it and it's a bonus. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The waitress was superb, loved the service. My only issue was the rest room, had water on the floor. Would have given a five star rating if not for this.
The wait time was extremely long and part of it was due to Covid 19 protocols seating. That doesn't mean I would take stars away from this review due to the wait time. We were greeted and seated with a smile. Tables were marked off with tags' out of order due to Covid protocols' every other seat at the bar was also tagged in order to follow procedures. Our servant was amazing, wish I could've got his name. He was very attentive to our dinner that night. I asked for a veggie nutrition sheet to determine what I was eating that night. He went to the back and printed out 2 sheets with all the non dairy, non meat, gluten free menu. That was really amazing of him and for that he gets 5 stars from us. My eggplant with spaghetti was delicious followed up with water and lime on point. I would definitely stop by to this olive garden when I am in the area.
I came to the Grand Prairie Olive Garden tonight. Got on wait list which said we had a 21-25 minute wait. I arrived and checked in. After a 33 minute wait, we were seated. We sat for 25 minutes without even being greeted by our server before we walked out. Tables around us that arrived 10+ minutes after us were being served appetizers and we hadn't even gotten water. Other tables waiting far too long to be acknowledged. Management should have been on the floor and step in where necessary. Very disappointed
I can Friday night to celebrate my nieces birthday!food was amazing however, As soon as we get there, we tell them it’s her birthday and our serves says they will do something special for her at the end… okay cool.. they bring her a big chocolate layered cake and sing happy birthday. Everything was cool until I looked at the check and saw I was charged for the birthday dessert!!! At most restaurants they give a free dessert for the birthday… which the probably isn’t even the cost.. it’s the fact he didn’t give me a heads up before he brought the dessert out.
Yesterday I and my husband are there the waitress was nice . I ordered fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli. I had who crowns of broccoli that was under cooked and the pasta could stand straight up on it’s on the sauce was so thick that every time I went to take a bite I felt the urge to throw up. I told the waitress I believe she didn’t even tell the cook and there was nothing done. The wine I had, had an old watered down taste. My husband only had a salad and he to got sick never eating there againUpdate: went back to Olive Garden in Grand Prairie on the 161 Hwy only to have the manager Carmen on her phone just walking around doing nothing ignoring my request the pasta is still standing up on its on with no help like they reuse old pasta or leave it out over night not even the salad was fresh ordered a glass of wine and there were still someone’s else lip prints on the glass when the waitress brought it to me. I’m so upset at this point.. so I asked for the other manager Mario he never came to my table or the waitress never told the manager he just was standing around looking lost and on his phone. The manager Carmen was being very rude to the employees it was a total mess. It seems that this restaurant needs new managers with better and positive attitudesNote: I am a food critic
