Bagel Beanery - Grand Rapids

This place has amazing bagels and their homemade(i think lol) strawberry cream cheese is fantastic. taking one star off because their iced lattes are lacking in quality but i think it?s because they?re only $2.50 for the summer so the employees areprobably fed up making stupid lattes lol

This place is typically my go to bagel spot. They have been serving up Gordon Foods bagels while their oven is down. This is typically not an issue but their staff do not tell their customers that the bagels are from Gordons. That doesn't sit well withme.

It's a great bagel place with the vibes so close to downtown. I even learned that bagels are steamed from the shop

More or less an Institution. However, (and I gotta say it), there are better places to get bagels in GR now, and Bagel Beanery is not the place you want to go for great coffee. It'll caffeinate you, but you probably won't enjoy it. My suggestion is to get a cappuccino (non-traditional, more Starbucks-proportioned capp if anyone cares) and a breakfast sandwich. That's the sweet spot that keeps me happy when I inevitably squeeze through that godforsaken drive thru lane at least once a week.
