Judson's - Grand Rapids

Judson's Steakhouse was a fantastic food, your staff was well trained, friendly and attentive. We have made reservations, our waiting was about 45 minutes, note that this was after an event over the street. I would not consider this a fine restaurant, More of a higher end-dünning experience. A gluten-free bread choice would help the menu a note.

Food was excellent. But the service is what made the experience, our server was very attentive and personable which made the entire experience very enjoyable. Really good place to go and eat. The hanger steak was delicious!!

Food was great. I had bruschetta and bacon wrapped scallops as an appetizer and pepper crusted filet mignon with asparagus and whipped potatoes and all of it was amazing! Service was slow and it took a while to get apps out and refills but overall was a great experience!

This restaurant is tucked to the side in the BOB and has a higher end atmosphere. The food was very good. The Oscar steak my wife had was spot on and my lamb was cooked just right. our server was very friendly and helpful. Thank you! I would recommend this place for a special occasion or just a date night as my wife and I did, but be aware it is a little more pricey, but worth it. While there try some of the beers made in house too.

For the money I would have expected more. I really was hoping for good service and got mediocre service. My steak was overly fatty even for a Delmonico (normally a bit of a fatty steak). My wife's steak was burnt even when she asked for Medium rare. The only saving Grace was that the Lamb lollipop's were really good. Unfortunately, we only got 3 of them. The drinks were mixed well. Atmosphere was decent. All that said. I really would have expected better service. The sad part was I don't think it was our waitresses fault. She was VERY busy. For the whole restaurant I think they had 2 wait staff on a Friday night. Roughly 20 tables... Yeah not enough.
