The Saucy Crab - Grand Rapids

“Ooo pig sooiee” Spicy sauce was yummy our server Crystal was so good at taking care of our table for us! She was the best! We really appreciate her good service???We might go “insanely spicy” level next time since “spicy” wasn’t too spicy for us?

I went here for my Birthday on the 17th of September. We got there around 5pm because we didn't want to wait. We'll we didn't.We were the Second group of diners in the place. We were Great and seated with in a few seconds of walking in . We ordered the Lava Lava Shrimp some drinks which have to be on the drink menu for some reason. It came quickly and was very hot. The shrimp were big and juicy the Dipping sauce was pretty hot but was good. Then we ordered the Boil with the Three Lobster tails and Clams the Crawfish we got the Garlic Butter mild sauce mistake one. It was kinda Greasy and didn't have much flavor still it was hot and there was a huge amount of Seafood and Sausage and Potatoes and Corn. I would not order that combo again or the flavoring but that was not their fault. Overall it was fun and really messy but the Drinks were super weak in Alcohol and the Sever should give you some input on the menu. I would go back.

Hubby and I split the Monday-Thursday Special with and add on of 1/2lb snow crab, one corn, and one potato. We got the Woo Pig Sooiee spice, medium level. I have to believe the people complaining of bland food got theirs with no spice. It was full of flavor and so delicious! We will definitely be back, but next time we won't add the crab as we ended up with more food than we could eat. Would definitely recommend if you are in the mood for a seafood boil.

I should have left as soon as I entered and heard loud pop disco music playing, making it feel more like a nightclub than a restaurant (especially at 1:00 in the afternoon). Unfortunately, the experience only got worse from there. I had to search for someone to seat me, and the waiter didn't show up until ten minutes later. The seafood I ordered was extremely overcooked. Additionally, I requested Cajun fries but received plain ones instead. There was also no salt and pepper on the table, no malt vinegar, and no lemon wedges available when I asked for them.

A fun, seafood-eating venue! Quiet atmosphere, friendly wait staff, clean, and tasty, savory food. Enjoyed some alligator ? bites and some jumbo shrimp ?, but the Argentinan shrimp was unavailable. Pricey, so be aware.
