Bidra med feedbackWe enjoyed a delicious meal here while visiting the Tetons! I loved the trout and my husband had a delectable steak. Both were absolutely delicious, including the sides. Don't forget to order the speciality margarita! Wonderful! Delightful wait staff and the view of the lake was nice. Best meal we had during our vacation in Jackson, Wyoming.
A hidden gem! This coffee shop and general store may look unassuming, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and the products inside. They offer ready-made sandwiches, fruit cups, and snacks for takeaway, which is incredibly convenient. What stood out the most were the unique and gourmet local items, in addition to the typical camping and backpacking supplies. I found marshmallows made in Jackson, a delightful cheese section, local sausages, kombucha brewed in the Tetons, and even aluminum-bottled water instead of plastic—perfect for snacks and souvenirs! The coffee shop served an excellent huckleberry cappuccino, with just the right temperature and perfectly steamed milk foam. The service was exceptional as well. Located in the Signal Lodge Resort Area, this spot is separate from the Trapper Grill but also features a gas station and a charming little deck where you can relax in the sun on a nice day. There's even a sign requesting not to feed the foxes—maybe we'll have a chance to see some fox friends on our next visit!
The prices here are too high (which seems typical for the area around Yellowstone in the summer), and the quality was just average. I tried the bison stew and wouldn't recommend it. If you're looking to try bison, go for the bison burger instead—it's a third of the price and tastes better. The portion of the sirloin steak was quite small; this is a big county, after all! The only reason I'm giving it three stars is that the service was friendly.
This review is for the Signal Mountain Restaurant. The food was absolutely terrible. I ordered a hamburger, and it seemed like they just microwaved it. My wife had the ribs, which were so dry that I could have used them to wipe my tears. The hot chocolate was unpleasant, but surprisingly, it was the best thing we had there. Our server, Zach, was really nice, but that doesn't make up for the fact that our bill totaled $45. They really should consider building a Taco Bell up there so I can enjoy some reliable fast food. It was also cold outside, and we had a miserable night in our car because our baby was crying every hour. To top it all off, we only spotted one moose. I’m placing the blame for all of this on that restaurant. Honestly, the owners owe me their firstborn child!
The rooms are lovely, and the food options are delicious. There's also a small convenience store on-site for snacks and other essentials. The views from the lodge are absolutely breathtaking. The staff is professional and extremely friendly. My husband's family has been visiting this place for over 40 years, and it continues to impress! Additionally, the boat rentals are a great bonus!
