Tham Nak Thai - Grandvaux

Originally I found the restaurant by chance during a walk through the Lavaux vineyards. Since then I have been back several times. The welcome is always friendly and the Thai food is great. In good weather you can sit at tables overlooking the lake.

Excellent Thai cuisine served on the terrace in the village overlooking the lake. Crispy duck and other delicacies prepared and served by a Thai monk. It's one of our destinations from Geneva.

We found this restaurant on trip advisor and weren't disappointed! The young owner greeted us with a big smile even though he was alone and a bit stressed. We highly recommend the crispy duck and the pepper and garlic duck. We also had the sweet and sour shrimp but it wasn't as tasty. The ginger chicken was lovely with its many slices of fresh ginger. The view of Lake Geneva is superb. The owner speaks both French and English. Don't hesitate to come here!

Stumbled, or rode, across this great little Thai a while ago, and came across it again today. Our waiter was great, a real chirpy chap speaking English and French.The menu has the great Thai classics, but here they're done really well with crisp fresh produce. Because I'd been before, and most Asian resto's damp down the spice, I knew to ask the chirpy chap to request more spices for my plates. I'm so glad I did, the plates were just perfect! To start I had a great Tom Yum Gai, while Ilona had ok Spring Rolls. after that I had a very tasty spicy beef salad and Ilona had the Shrimp Phad Thai which was very good, all sitting outside underneath the trees with an amazing view! very tasty and good service.

This friendly and simple Thai restaurant in the centre of one of the very quant medieval Swiss villages on Lake Geneva is great for authentic Thai cuisine and a relaxed dinner. In summertime the view from the terrace overlooking the lake is splendid. Owner speaks English...
