Rainbow Grill - Grandville

It was a great, quite little spot to stop on a rainy morning. Service is great and food is pretty good too!

Greasy spoon, nice place, a little too much country music, fine food. Large portions.

After waiting more than 10 minutes to order, while the staff was all socializing ; we left went to Russ 's where they sat us immediately took our orders promptly. Guess it 's more important to ignore customers at RG chit chat amoungst waitstaff. I can 't comment on RG food as we never got to order.

I have always loved the restaurant that is now Arrows. Knowing these two use to be connected restaurants, I was excited to eat at Rainbow because it’s closer to my friend’s house. The food was ok and our waitress was good. However, upon leaving I had hoped to get some muffins I forgot to order with the meal so I was waiting by the hostess stand. The way this afternoon’s hostess treated an elderly couple who came in was absolutely unacceptable. The elderly woman, using a walker, clearly was just trying to keep up slow movement til she could sit. They asked for a close table it was clear she needed to be seated soon to be comfortable. The hostess got VERY flustered and snapped at the couple that she needed to check what tables were open so they needed to stop. They proceeded to slowly move I don’t know that they even heard her since she was talking over them, and she went to the dining room, found the table, and got back to the stand while the elderly lady moved MAYBE four feet. The waitress then proceeded to VERY sarcastically, snarky, and rudely say “the sign says WAIT to be seated.” No customer should be treated that way, especially a well meaning elderly couple. If this hostess is not equipped to handle her job, then perhaps she needs more training or a new position in the restaurant, but it is not ok to treat customers that rudely.

I will not go back! Both myself and my mother feel sick. Menu has totally changed and prices raised quite a bit.Food was hot, but flavor was not there. Hollandaise sauce left bad after taste. Corn beef hash was actually shredded corn beef, no hash to it fried to the point that it looked like bacon.Someone from management or owner was loudly discussing product and how to count usage etc. Us customers don't really care how you figure costs out.Waitress was kind. But lacked attentiveness. Warned that food was taking forever. I almost left then. Which I wish I would of because then I wouldn't feel sick to my stomach.Best part was someone paid our bill as a Happy Mother's dayToo bad it wasn't better food.Wish the old owners were there still.
