Don Chencho - Granite City

My lavish place to eat in Granite City by far. The waiting staff is always so friendly, the food is great and supa cheap and the environment is so brilliant I come again and again. Please stay FOREVER and ever Don Chencho!!!!!!

So far this is a great place for me to have lunch and I hope dinner. I really enjoy the food here. So far, the food has been fresh, filling, and delicious. I taste only good fresh and wholesome ingredients from fresh vegetables. They have their own parking lot which is shared but plenty of room to park. When you come in you will be seated and don't expect some fancy spot this is a nice, casual Mexican restaurant. This place is real, not designed for a socializing niche with tasteless food, this place cranks out real Mexican deliciousness. I can't wait to go back and try more of this good eating here, forget the franchises, this place is better than any franchise I have been in serving Mexican type cuisine. The server was nice and I can't wait to get a chance to meet Roberto, he is the owner and chef, at least when I was there. I had the beef Tostadas and chicken Tostadas with lettuce, tomato, onions, sour cream, cheese and avocados slices. It was so good and new to me! They give you nacho chips and salsa to snack on until they take your order. They have specials every day of the week, you gotta try them!
