Wild Grapes Bistro - Grants Pass

I drove 30 minutes out of my way to pick up an order that I had placed and paid for online, only to find the restaurant closed and locked up for the night. Their posted store and online hours showed that they should have been open for another hour and a half, and their online ordering system clearly accepted our order. It's unbelievable.

Fantastic selection of plant-based and gluten-free options. Plus, they have GT's Synergy kombucha in the cooler—awesome!

Usually, our dining experiences here are fantastic! However, this last visit was a bit disappointing. My power bowl did not meet the usual standards of Wild Grapes. The rice was still hard and crunchy, and there was no spinach included. To make matters worse, the black beans I had added as a protein to both bowls were missing. After picking up my order, I had to call to find out that the black beans were out of stock. I really hope that next time I’m informed about this and receive a refund at the time of pickup. The staff was very understanding of my disappointment and processed a refund for the extra charge. I’m hopeful that next time the food will return to its usual high quality!

Pros: Great vegetarian restaurant. Food was fresh and delicious. Got 20% off first order when placed online (which I did inside the restaurant w/ their help) Fair pricing Convenient location Cons: Wait time too long with only one group of 3 people in front of me, I waited 35 minutes for my food. I had ordered the plant based chicken teriaki bowl, but asked for the sauce to be left on the side, as I don 't like a strong teriaki flavor. My husband had been waiting outside in the 100+ degree heat this whole time. Upon returning to hotel, I discovered my food was just lined up in the container, uncooked. So it took them over 30 min to place a bunch of veges in my to go container with a plastic cup of sauce on the side. Nice. I had to microwave it. Thanks guys!

Very tasty vegan breakfast sandwich! I would probably opt of the vegan Mayo next time for personal preference.
