Flour Garden Bakery - Grass Valley

We ordered two cakes from here. The order was a great experience. They were busy when I called and told them they would call back and they did within 5 minutes. Olaf was very patient in the decrease of order. The cakes themselves were absolutely beautiful, and sooo delicious! A cake was a chocolate cake with coconut-cutard cream filling and cream cheese freezing. The other cake was a lemon cake with lemon curd filling and lemon butter cream frosting. The cakes were both moist and soft, the filling and freezing on both cakes was not too sweet. Will definitely order cake from them again! Thank you for making my birthday so unforgettable!

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and wanted to share my experience. There's an older blonde woman named Natalie who works here. The atmosphere is spacious and relaxed, although the service can be a bit slow. However, the rest of the staff is friendly and very helpful. The food is all homemade and absolutely delicious. While it can be on the pricey side, they do offer discounts during certain times of the day.

Overall, the selection is limited. The freshly squeezed juices are delicious, though I wish they were served colder. They also offer dog biscuits that my dog absolutely loves. Additionally, the ice cream coffee is quite good as well.

Charming homemade bakery with an outstanding selection of coffees, pastries, bagels, desserts, and grab-and-go lunches. The staff is wonderful, and the atmosphere is lovely.

My husband and I have the fondest memories of staying with friends for a few months in Grass Valley and waking up every morning and heading to the Flour Garden for a great cup of coffee.
