Bill's Pub North - Grayslake

Giving it a full 5 stars. Solid food for a very fair price. They have multiple meals for under $10 and their beer is reasonably priced (for dining out/a bar). Friendly and responsive staff. Do not come here if you are allergic to nuts!

Not sure what the hype is with this place. Had a horrible experience about a year ago but hated to judge it off of one visit. Tried it again last week and the food is mediocre at best. Pizza is crunchy and dry, try throwing some sauce on it. The service is spotty and the atmosphere is bland. Peanut shells everywhere so you just crunch your way to the booth. So overrated. Sorry, I hate providing negative reviews.

Bills has a large fun dining room but we chose to sit in their outside dining area. It is nice and big and shaded by pine trees. We had the place to ourselves. The server was very attentive and the pizza was great.

Bills Pizza is always delicious. Lots of toppings that cover the whole pizza right up to the edge. Appetizers tray came out and not only cooked to perfection but everyone enjoyed. Mozzarella sticks, fried zucchini mushrooms. The cabin decor is great the animal and fishing trophies are exciting to see for adults and kids. The only draw back to the location the arched ceiling is finished wood and reflects sound causing the place to get very loud. Like being at a concert and yelling to converse with the person next to you. Really need to add some sound damping panels or more trophies up on the ceiling.
