Mizumi Sushi Steak - Great Bend

They have a beautifully produced menu/flyer, at least half of which is dedicated to sashimi sushi entrees, special rolls a'la carte offerings. I would call in my take-out order from across the street while walking my dog around Barton County Court/Jack Kilby Square park. Sushi was great, service not so much. Lady didn’t even say two words to me when I was paying.

So I had lunch today here for my first time ever being here. I had the chicken hibachi with fried rice. And my boyfriend had the filet mignon and salmon hibachi. We also ordered two sushi rolls the Paradise roll and the Fire Cake roll. So for the sushi it was delicious and fresh not fishy at all. Would HIGHLY recommend. The chicken teriyaki was also perfect. Pot stickers were pretty good, but everything else was very sub-par. The onion soup tasted like it was made with beef bouillon and fried onion. I also ordered the beef and broccoli. The beef was flimsy and rubbery. The broccoli that is supposed to be cooked with the beef was cold, definitely microwaved. When I told the waitress about the cold food all they did was re microwaved it and still charged us full price. All I left with was an unsatisfied hunger, and a stomach ache.

Sushi fell short of perfect but good.. The fried rice was not good. And the meat was chewy and overcooked
