Number 1 Kitchen - Great Yarmouth

We came into Gorleston to see the harbour and find somewhere for dinner. Hospitality was outstanding. Clearly this is the hub of the community.

Lovely place with a welcoming atmosphere, pool was free so played a good few games with the kids. Good cocktails and mocktails for the younger ones. Came back for food as it looked lovely, portions were huge! Kids ate free during the holidays. The kids meals were the biggest I have ever seen and we took half of it home in a bag for them. Will definitely be our go to bar when we are in the area again. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will be back

We were staying in Yarmouth and googled somewhere to go for Sunday lunch, which is always a bit of a gamble, and we prefer something that comes with a bit more than the usual carrots and peas! The staff were extremely helpful when I enquired beforehand about accessibility for our elderly Mums. The Sunday roast was amazing and came with gorgeous proper roast potatoes and 5 different vegetables including very tasty red cabbage and very cheesy cauliflower cheese which was served in separate dishes of generous proportions. Everything mentioned on the menu was on the plate, which is not always the case, from my experience. The dinners were huge and none of us managed to finish, not even my husband! Big credit to the chef and the lovely ladies working in the bar, thank you for making us so welcome.

Fantastic Sunday roast. Very welcoming staff and owner Watched the England game, great atmosphere Definitely go back when we visit Gorleston again. Sorry we didn't find it until our last night
