Whites Lounge - Great Yarmouth

On the last day of opening before the winter shutdown there were for a few drinks, opening times from 12 to 5 on the board outside to find 3:20 clock to door closed, lighter on and personal cleaning inside. at least we had a nice walk to california tavern, which was open.

Fantastic restaurant and bar. incredibly friendly and competent staff and the gluten-free menu is probably the best I have ever seen. can not recommend it enough.

Visited Whites this evening with family including a young baby and a dog. Sat on the patio area and nothing was too much trouble for the staff, very friendly and excellent customer service. Good food (lasagne, burger, gammon steak and squid salad) piping hot and...really tasty. Booked for the pop up steak night tomorrow and looking forward to it.

I’ve visited Whites several times now just as a couple and also with family and I’ve never been anything but happy. The food has always been delicious and the atmosphere has always been on point. I would highly recommend the burgers or carbonara. What made...it extra special for us is that the staff genuinely seem to care about their customers and are very chatty and friendly. It’s also great to see the owner of the business very much involved with the running of the business instead of sitting on the sidelines.

Stopped by for a refreshing cold pint after a walk along the beautiful Scratby beach. Lovely modern bar with friendly staff. Was really nice to see the owner taking time to chat with his customers. As they were showing the weekends football, we decided to...stay for food which was delicious and very reasonable for the quality! Would 100% recommend and will definitely be returning!
