680 North - Green Lake

We recently dined at 680 with a group of 14, and right from the start, we were disappointed. They did not seat us together and gave no explanation for it. Out of the 14 meals we ordered, only three were satisfactory. The steaks were tough, the seafood was inedible, the chicken was dry, the toast was burnt, and my cheeseburger was as hard as a hockey puck. I've dined here several times before and always had a great experience, so I'm not sure what went wrong this time. Management really needs to address these issues. The only positive aspect of the evening was our server; she was excellent.

I went out for dinner tonight, and I definitely will not be returning. We had a party of 12, and only 5 of us enjoyed our meals. I ordered the tenderloin, which cost $29.00, but it was so tough that I couldn't eat it at all—I've never encountered such a problem with tenderloin before. The salad bar had soup that was nearly empty, even though they had just opened about an hour prior to our arrival. There was no bread, and they didn’t provide any salt or pepper. On a positive note, our server, Abbey, was fantastic and very accommodating. She did remove two meals from our bill. Unfortunately, the other dish—broiled fish and chips—was dry and lacking flavor.

Fantastic breakfast choices at remarkably affordable prices for the location. The service was also excellent. Service: Dine-in Meal Type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10

The food was below average, with cold soup and prices that were higher than expected. We won't be returning. We just wanted a quick bite on our way home!
