Firehouse Subs Henry St - Green Meadows

Doggone this food was better than expected. I?ve tried most places in town that offer an Italian sub... this one was one of the best. I also enjoy their selection of 40+ hot and savory sauces that they have evaluated on a 1 10 hot scale. Additionally, I like the three options for size of sandwiches. Occasionally the service is a touch slow, so if you need freaky fast, select your establishment accordingly. The gal who took our order this day was an absolute delight. Truly best in class, which was also unexpected. Lastly, they have a ?future firefighters? eat free on Monday?s promotion, which is good on the family budget. We?ll be back again soon. PS only note to management, if you have any choice, please go back to the old Coca Cola machines... many establishments have gone away from the 1,000,000 selections additives (lemon, vanilla, etc) both for speed and flavor.

This is not the place to go for a good sandwich, you don't get what you pay for. For $9 I got the sandwich pictured below, beside a screen shot of the same sandwich from their website. I realize that marketing pictures are always made to look perfect and what you get never actually looks the same, but these don't even remotely compare. There are so many good sandwich shops around to go to, no need to go here. I suggest Pickleman's, it's my go to place and will continue to be, I just thought I'd try something else for once and maybe add another place to my list of regular favorites, but this isn't it. At Pickleman's you still pay $9 for a sandwich, but it's really a piled high, hearty sandwich that will fill you up, so you get good value for your money. I contacted the restaurant to let them know of my dissatisfaction, and included the picture of my sandwich. The general manager called and left a message. As soon as I received the message, I called back just a few minutes later and was told that she wasn't in the store and they would have her call me when she got in later. That was a few days ago, I never got that call back. They don't take their sandwiches or their customer service very seriously.

Such a great experience- food is hot with fresh ingredients and loaded with toppings/meat. Lettuce is crisp, tomatoes are juicy, onions are potent and meat is melt in the mouth moist. Fountain machine has a ton of options including fanta, barqs and dr. pepper. Cookies are bomb (recommend the sugar cookie). The employees are super friendly too!

Boy it had been a while since I stopped in here. Ordered the classic Hook Ladder. I'm never disappointed with a quality and taste of sandwiches from Firehouse. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Never had a bad experience. But having the hot sauce selection like it used to be better
