Bidra med feedbackI was so excited to finally get to try out the new vegan place in town for a friends birthday! Our party of 6 made a reservation on a Thursday night, but we would have been fine to just walk in. It was surprisingly not very busy. My first impressions of the space were that I loved the aesthetic of the interior design and they played great music the whole time we were there. To begin we ordered a round of drinks and some starters. I wasn't drinking alcohol at the time, but they were still able to make a yummy hibiscus mocktail for me to enjoy. Their old fashioned was very impressive with the theatrics of containing the smoke until it was served at the table. I loved watching the smoke rise and flow out of the glass. For our starters we ordered the black lentil fritter, kale chicory caesar salad, and the roasted beet tartare. Of the three my personal favorite was the caesar salad with the fritter as a very close second. On the caesar salad the creamy sunflower dressing was so good!! It had great textural components with the nori crumble. The fritter reminded me of falafel and had a delicious cultured herb sauce that was reminiscent of pesto that went along with it. Next we ordered a few small plates: the cast iron loaded cabbage, roasted blue hubbard squash, grilled broccoli yogurt cheese fondue, and the golden green roasted chickpeas. The cabbage was my absolute favorite. It had such an interesting flavor profile with the lemon balancing beautifully with the saltiness of the capers and olives. The broccoli was a very close second! Anytime a vegan dish is able to replicate creminess, I am floored. I appreciated the beautiful presentation of the squash with the inclusion of the purple leaves. I felt like the chickpeas were a little bit lacking flavor wise. Lastly we ordered two large plates: the smoked lentil tempeh with black garlic demi and the polenta oyster mushrooms. The polenta was incredibly creamy and so satisfying!! As if we hadn't had enough to eat, our waitress somehow talked up into dessert!! We thoroughly enjoyed the buckwheat brownie and toasted sunflower ice cream that came along with it. If I had eaten it without knowing it was vegan, you wouldn't have been able to convince me otherwise. Overall I was quite impressed that I left dinner feeling completely satisfied. This may have been because we spared no expense, but I feel that at a place like this you have to order a lot and share to get the full experience. I'm so happy to have this inclusive restaurant in the heart of downtown Greensboro!!
A must stop for vegan cuisine while in downtown Greensboro. My wife made reservations at Radici for ourselves and another couple. The decor was simple but tasteful while offering an upscale appearance. The staff was friendly and attentive but respectful of unnecessary interruptions during our dinner. We all started with some cocktails from their wide assortment of choices. The food was amazing. We shared two of their small plates (gold and green braised chickpeas a roasted cauliflower) which were wonderful. Both plates were full of flavor and delicious. We all ordered a large plate that included the Mushroom Dumplings and the Grain Bowl. I've included photos of these wonderful dishes. We were short on time so decided to pass on dessert. I recommend making a reservation if you choose dining here for dinner since we had to make ours weeks in advance. This is a new establishment but getting more popular quickly!
First time visit this past Saturday evening. Absolutely delicious food! Our server was delightful! I’ll be back for more! 5 stars !
This was my first time eating at Radici and I had a great experience! The food and service was amazing! Can't wait to go back
This is so close to 5 stars. Having a vegan high end option on Elm is fanatic. The space used to house a seafood restaurant but it has been retooled very nicely. It is a little sparse but the vibe is good. The service was very good. All the dishes were excellent and brought out in a timely manner. So here are the only real negatives the single note sauce and a single dessert option. Great ideas well executed. Definitely need to expand the menu. We tried to make online reservations but the system was quirky. We had to call. Even calling, the place was half full on an early Saturday evening. There are great things to come and I suspect I will be giving a 5 star rating in the future!
