Bidra med feedbackWe usually visit for Sunday brunch, making it one of our go-to spots after church. However, we finally had the opportunity to enjoy dinner there, and it was fantastic as always! This evening, we indulged in the Burrata, Spaghetti, Lamb, Sue Pizza, and Tart. **Burrata:** Perfection! The Romesco sauce on the plate was a refreshing change from the usual tomato pairing, and the deep-fried preparation transformed it into an upscale version of your childhood mozzarella stick. **Spaghetti:** While the flavor was good, it was tricky to eat. The sauce was quite loose, causing the peas and bacon to slide off the al dente pasta instead of sticking to it. **Lamb:** Cooked excellently, but at $48, the portion was surprisingly small. Most items on the menu are reasonably priced, but this one felt off. You get two pieces of asparagus, a splash of sauce, and perhaps 5 ounces of meat once separated from the bone. **Sue Pizza:** A delightful blend of spicy and sweet, with some of the best crust in the Valley! **Tart:** We were pleasantly surprised by the deconstructed Mango Tart! The curd was both tart and creamy, bursting with fresh mango flavor. The whipped cream was just the right sweetness and firmness, while the sprinkle of crust kept it light. The unique mint syrup around the plate was a lovely touch! Few places in the Valley offer desserts that truly stand out, but this is definitely one of them—delicious! **Side note:** The open kitchen does come with its risks. We noticed the chef speaking to the servers with a surprisingly low level of respect, which wasn’t a great impression. However, it didn’t overshadow our overall experience.
Don’t miss out on this one! The staff is fantastic and truly engaged. The Bloody Mary was amazing, topped with a cheese pizza crust. The pizza itself was crispy, smoky, and had the perfect char. The drizzle of honey over the flavorful pepperoni was an excellent touch. This place is a real gem!
From the atmosphere, service and food it is fantastic!Everything on the menu looks so intriguing and have been told changes. The presentation to the taste of the food, you will be sad when it ends. You know you're going to be back......and soon!!
When you have to stop yourself from going back to a restaurant less than 24 hours after you leave, you know it's amazing.I don't know where to start with @fieldandfirekitchen the menu is immaculate, vibes are on point, it has an open kitchen so you can watch your food being made and the pizzas being fired.APPETIZERSWe got the duck meatballs, which my stepdad said he could eat every day; shrimp on corn tortilla the shrimp was so fresh. PASTAThe Agnolloti stuffed with ricotta was perfectly al dente and packed with creamy flavor. WOOD FIRED PIZZAThe Levy a sausage, ricotta, onion, and bell pepper combo was delicious (so glad I have leftovers! . Love that they a asked if I wanted parmesan cheese with my pizza and b left an entire plate of freshly grated parm at the table (I always feel bad when the server is grating it at the table and I want the max MAINSI've never seen a better presentation of Trout, and the Wagyu Burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life, topped with caramelized onion, cheddar, and umami aioli.DRINKSThey're known for their classic Old Fashioned as well as their Wisconsin Old Fashioned. With our dessert we got the White Russian, which my mom said would make Wisconsin winters bearable if you could drink one of those every day I love the presentation of their drinks, and they have a great selection of wine too.DESSERTWe tried their pot de creme, pear dessert, and carrot cake. Presentation is huge at @fieldandfirekitchen and the carrot cake was almost too pretty to eat. (Luckily I have plenty experience with eating pretty things . While all were fantastic, the carrot cake was incredible anyone who can make carrot cake taste the same or better than a chocolate dessert deserves an award in my book TLDR: @fieldandfirekitchen is amazing and THE spot for good eats in the area.: @foodiepicture Insta
We had a group of 4 and we all loved everything. All appetizers, mains, pizza and desserts were unique and fresh. The pork chop was prepared perfectly and was the best we’ve had in a while. Loved the music, our server and the atmosphere. Cute cozy spot for date night or a glass of wine with friends. We’re looking forward to going back to try the brunch.Vegetarian options: They were accommodating with our vegetarian requests
