Chopsticks Buffet - Gretna

Some of the standout dishes for me included the Coconut Crisps (my favorite!), roasted shrimp in a sweet coconut cream sauce, butter pepper shrimp, seafood salad, and the shrimp and celery dish served in a white sauce (which was served cold). I also enjoyed the seafood bags and crab rangoons. My friend's favorite was the BBQ chicken on a stick, which I also liked—the BBQ sauce was absolutely delicious. There were a few items that I found to be just okay, such as the egg rolls and sushi (which was surprisingly below par for a buffet; the tuna was not very good, but everything else was fresh). The lo mein and cheese-covered spinach dishes did not impress either. Unfortunately, I found the clam chowder inedible, and the grimace on my face made my boyfriend think it wasn’t worth eating anything else after that. On a positive note, the restaurant was clean and well-organized, and the food overall looked fresh and well-maintained. The staff was friendly too. Despite some negative reviews I've seen, it seems they've either made significant improvements or Sunday is the best day to visit. At $12.99 per person all day on Sundays, it was definitely a good value for money.

It's a BUFFET!!!! For those who complain about poor service: perhaps you don't understand what a buffet is? You walk in, serve yourself, find a seat, and then do it all over again! The service is minimal, which helps keep costs down for us customers. If you don't like it, just go to a pricier restaurant where they will happily attend to your needs... for a price!

It was a wonderful experience. Although I only visited, this place offers a lot of potential, and everything is fresh.
