Bidra med feedbackGood food, good prices, great friendly staff. Usually not too full. Really enjoyed. We went back a little while by chance after they closed for the day and they didn't say anything and served us anyway.
De-No is in a building, which looks like it was a Mexican restaurant, before this current business started, in 1994. The exterior is plain, but the interior is neat and clean, and a bit more decorated, however, not extensively. The ambiance is of a family-oriented neighborhood joint, and the staff greeted most of the lunch guests, by name. I ordered the Shrimp Catfish Half Half, which came with two sides (I chose steamed broccoli and a fully-loaded baked potato, which added 99 cents to the charge, but there is no charge for the standard baked potato). Everything was fresh and piping hot. The portions were huge. The fried seafood was perfectly seasoned and in no way greasy. Also, two hush puppies and a tiny slice of French bread was on the plate, too. This was outstanding! RJT
The new owners have done a great job of improving the service. Our waitress was super attentive and nice. The food was delicious, with very large portion sizes for reasonable prices. We will definitelt return!
The food here is always so good. It's become our favorite place. Some of the staff forget to bring your salad thats twice now but the great food makes up for it. We always have to get a to go box So much.
My husband Craig and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who have written of your positive experiences at our restaurant and also to address an absolutely false claim in another review. I guess people can make whatever baseless charges they want to when online. We purchased this restaurant approximately one year ago, and do not want to defend or cast aspersions at the previous owners. In their review posted two months ago, a person named Teedie Zedias made very serious charges of racism against the owners for years of this family owned restaurant . While we are not aware who Teedie might be, they and their family are cordially invited to return to our restaurant and verify for themselves that we and our diverse staff are not in any fashion to whom they may be referring. We all are welcoming and hospitable to every customer and wish only the most enjoyable experience with good food and good service that we can possibly offer. Also, the mall in which we are located has also changed hands and the new owner is of Hispanic origin from Miami...therefore, I can only conclude that the reviewer has not been to our location in quite some time. Thank you for your attention in allowing me to address these recent changes and look forward to all of you coming to visit us real soon.
