Jose’s Mexican Grill Gretna

Both my husband and I chose the chicken nachos since we had never tried them before. When they arrived, we were disappointed to find that it consisted mainly of plain shredded chicken, chips, and cheese dip—completely lacking in flavor. Throughout our visit, the staff only checked on us once. Eventually, we had to walk up to the front to pay for our drinks and rice because no one brought us a check. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I don't think we'll be returning. We had such a great time when the restaurant first opened, but it has really declined since then.

The food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. What a true gem in the town of Gretna!

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! The food was fantastic, with the hot dishes served piping hot and the cold items nice and chilled. The establishment was clean, and the staff promptly cleared away dirty plates after we finished eating. I will definitely be returning!
