Lake Mahinapua - Greymouth

Absolutely fantastic! We stopped by during our Kiwi Experience Bus trip, and it turned out to be one of the best nights I've ever had! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the teamwork is impressive. I participated in the Greenstone scavenger hunt, which was an unforgettable experience that I doubt I'll ever have the chance to do again. The evening party was wonderful—I can't even put it into words! The accommodation was spotless, including the bathroom. There’s plenty of outdoor activities, and the highlight was definitely the two hot pools! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, with plenty of food for everyone. I’ll definitely return if I'm ever in this area again! Thank you for an amazing time!

This hotel is absolutely amazing! I had a fantastic time; the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the warm duvets made for a cozy stay. The jade stone carving experience in the back was definitely worth it and offered great value. I visited as part of a bus group, so I can understand it might be a bit quieter at times. Overall, it's an incredible family hotel with breathtaking views by the lake.

The place is a well-organized backpacker's hostel with friendly staff and excellent facilities. If you cross the road toward the lake, you'll find a path to the left that winds through the rainforest. This scenic route takes about 30 minutes to reach the lake and is simply stunning. They also have a room filled with costumes for themed dress-up parties. The beach nearby is gorgeous and remarkably secluded! Just remember to bring insect repellent for the sand flies.

Only party place. pretty funny, but not much to do in the opposite other than to drink. they take care of parties and bus tours full of young tourist.

The Kiwi Experience costume party was fun and the roast pork dinner was good!
