Zambrero - Griffith

I originally intended to go to a health store for a meal, but it was closed due to COVID. I stumbled upon Zambrero when I was starting to lose hope, and was pleasantly surprised. The woman who served me was very helpful, knowledgeable about their vegan options, and even accommodated my dietary needs. I left very happy.

This restaurant is pretty much the only place in Griffith where you can get a vegan meal, and we were very satisfied with it. They have a classic vegan option that can be customized with various vegan substitutes like beans or cauliflower. They also offer vegan cheese and sour cream that taste just like the non-vegan versions. Additionally, they have a variety of vegan sauces available. We will definitely be returning as it is one of the few restaurants where I felt like I had just as many options as the meat-eaters!
