China Tao Jan Ting - Grimbergen

Very well executed classical US/Chinese food. The Suen-lak (spicy) soup is second to almost none. The varied entrée was up-to-par with competing businesses. Our 2 main dishes were excellent: fresh ingredients, taste, sauce consistency, all were more than we expected in this restaurant: kudos for the owners for stepping up their game considerably these last few years The only lackluster aspect is the wine-menu. Not enough quality choice. Overall a solid choice for an excellent western-chinese-experience. I recommend

Leaving since many years in the city of Grimbergen and what a nice surprise to finally take away home their food. We love it, all plates very tasteful and we will certainly come back. Don't miss to ask for baby pam

Good business menu with soup starter meal desert in this quiet and well decorated Chinese restaurant. Very friendly service and great value for money in the center of Grimbergen (3 min walking distance from the church). Two parkings at the end of the street, near the municipal center.

This restaurant is quite disappointing. The birdnest soup they sell as starter is fake and not authentic at all. In fact it is just a very thick chicken soup with some egg white. Nonetheless the taste is not bad. After it me and my girlfriend ordered the Chinese hotpot/fondue, which we are very familiar with. The hotpot soup was just normal beef stock with some veggies. The meat was okay but low quality meat. Also the separate veggies were also relatively cheap. Unfortunately we had to pay the jackpot prise wise. To sum up, decent food but the price is unproportional expensive. Save your money and find a decent hot pot restaurant.
