Papa's - Grindavik

I had a vegetarian pizza with vegan cheese, vegan cheese isn’t listed but if they ask they have it.

They can make some pizzas fully vegan, just ask. They do have vegan cheese and they use vegan dough. Their pizza is definitely Icelandic style, expect it to be heavy, greasy and topped with dates.

The menu states ‘vegan options available’ which I believe is just substituting cheese on the menu for vegan cheese. I did this on the vegetarian pizza and it was delicious. The cheese wasn’t too sticky there was plenty of veg. The portions are also very generous, I had a small pizza and shared a side of fries which was plenty.

Quick lunchtime meal of fish and chips. The fish was excellent, so fresh and tasty. The batter was crisp, not oily. Lots of working locals when we visited. Easy parking Efficient friendly service.

We were looking for a place after the blue lagoon and we found this restaurant. Amazing food and reasonable prices! My kids loved it and they’re picky. Fresh food and great quality! Highly recommend :
