Carson's Store - Groton

I recently visited Carson's for the first time and had high expectations after hearing rave reviews. I am happy to report that my experience exceeded all expectations. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Our server, Ari, was incredibly friendly and attentive.

The restaurant is small and charming. The food is delicious and comforting, definitely better than the average diner in the area. They also serve ice cream and have a friendly staff. You can even rent out the place for parties.

We went for lunch and the three sandwiches that my group ordered were fantastic! I absolutely loved my Thanksgiving sandwich, the local beef hamburger was delicious, and the tomato basil sandwich was excellent! It's a small restaurant, so they had run out of some items by the time we got there, but they handled it well and it didn't detract from our experience at all. The wait staff was fantastic, and the atmosphere was really cool!

I stopped in for breakfast one day. Ordered a mushroom and cheese omelet and the cornedbeef hash. This was some of the best corned beef hash and was loaded with shredded corned beef. So delicious!!

Nice little lunch counter spot. Had a delicious lobster, egg and cheese on a roll that was very generous with the lobster. Good ice cream too. And the younger person working the counter was very gracious.
