Sapore Braceria Pizzeria - GROTTAGLIE

Pizzeria for an unpretentious family dinner. I didn't know there was Karaoke night on Fridays, music was too loud. Normal pizza, nothing exceptional, a little loaded with toppings, decent dough. Normal appetizers.

Pizzeria braceria suggested by the fork. Fairly varied and comprehensive menu. The Brembana pizza with porcini mushrooms was excellent and the Sapore with a buffalo mozzarella in the centre, the mixed roast was good and plentiful, the cold cuts platter was passable. Courteous and particularly attentive staff. Nice and kind owner. Fast service, despite the place being full. Parking without problems. To return without hesitation even without... the fork

A nice pizzeria on the outskirts of Grottaglie! Winning family business! A nice wood-burning oven for nice crunchy pizzas... fries and chips... Also meat: good meatballs. The normal soft drinks and some beers... Avoid the weekend for fast service.

Terrible experience. We arrive for about 2130 and order about twenty minutes later which was absolutely no problem as we were undecided. After a while, fortunately the french fries arrive. After two hours the pizzas still hadn't arrived, so I ask the waiter how long it takes and he replies that he would ask immediately. The fact is that the pizzas from the next table arrive, of ours still nothing and after a while the wrong pizza arrives. We wait and the waiter comes back asking us for the order again since our ticket had been lost. We wait further, until we decide to go home as my boyfriend's mother was exhausted (all at ten past midnight . At that moment the pizzas arrive, we have them put in cartons and in the till we point out that two hours were decidedly excessive, considering that we left over the drinks in the useless wait and that, knowing it beforehand, we would have left. The lady apologized stating that we had all arrived at the same time (and no, there weren't many tables and I allow myself to judge by how much I work primarily as a waitress in my parents' business who manage two floors of tables, two hours are NOT normal ; they probably gave priority to the other room where an event was taking place, I assume private, complete with karaoke. Apart from the apologies, rather lame given the situation, there was no extra effort and, in conclusion, the pizzas were of poor quality (I really wanted to say the opposite, I hoped so! . Luckily I was able to take advantage of TheFork's discount…never again.

Excellent and plentiful Sunday lunch. Competitive prices with drinks included. Fast and friendly service. Nice and clean place. We will be back to try the pizzas in the evening!
