Wow, wow, wow.... real bbq taste, no short cuts.. James sat down and eaten with us. Great people and food. Feel like family...oh...Oxtails on Sundays....YUMMY CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN

The food is amazing. Great taste, huge servings, and low price for the quantity amd quality. We ordered it through doordash to be delivered and it was very fast in delivery. Went here in person for take out and the staff were all very nice. Seems like a great family owned restaurant. Definitely recommend.

James BBQ is a wonderful local treasure, the meat literally was falling off the bone all my sides were incredibly well done and tasted like momma woulda made, added to that James was an incredible host and gave us some great conversation and laughs along with showing us around the smoker, you can't find a better host or better BBQ in the area!

Incredible barbecue! The meat just falls off the bone. The sauce is delicious, but honestly, you won't even need it. Everything is fresh and flavorful—what more could you want? The two women who work there are incredibly welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home. The mac and cheese is great too! I’m not usually a fan, but my husband couldn't get enough of it. So, definitely stop by and try the ribs. Not only are they truly the best, but you'll also be supporting a local business and helping them stay open.

If you find yourself in Groveland, Florida, and crave some delicious BBQ, you must check out James BBQ on Highway 50. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the restaurant itself has a beautiful atmosphere, which James personally maintains. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, they offer a lunch special for just $5.00. I tried the ribs, collard greens, beans, and cornbread, accompanied by a large mason jar of sweet tea—it was so much food that I struggled to finish it all! You definitely won’t be disappointed. Lunch specials are available from 11 AM to 2 PM.
