Grovetown Seafood Market And

I go here because there 's not a lot of other competition in Grovetown for seafood. They serve oysters scallops which other places don 't. About once every 3 months I get a hankering for good old oysters! If you get their oyster combo, you get 10 oysters with a side of either fried rice, steamed veggies or fries. That cost about $16 or $17. But if you just get the oysters by themselves, it 's a dollar cheaper you get 12 oysters. It all seems high priced to me! You can tell these oysters weren 't fresh caught, they 're cooked from frozen!This restaurant still hasn 't opened up their dining room. They still act like COVID is going on! You have to stand outside with no seating in the hot sun or either sit in your car.The only other place I know in Grovetown that serves oysters is the new place down on Wrightsboro Road by the Walmart called Tasty Wings Seafood . However, they 're closed on Mondays! Go figure!

Their seafood is great, especially the fried shrimp! The owner is so nice on the phone in person.

Honestly almost had to give this place 5 stars; the service was great, portions were huge, food was fresh, prices were good, and we like counter service restaurants. However, there is no dine-in option even though the place has plenty of room which was a real disappointment. That and the fried rice tasted a little dry, may just have been too much MSG. Other than those 2 things it was great!
