Mosquito Coast - Gruissan

Its all pretty straight forward here and do not expect anything special. A very good location with easy parking even in the height of summer on the beach. Lunch was Ok if the choice is a bit limiting especially if you are gluten free. We...came back a week later for tapas and that was probably better value- large dishes.

We liked the place until we had some food. The fish came raw and even after an overhaul in the kitchen it remained raw. They charged full price nonetheless and did not even offer an apology. That made it by far the worst experience in...over a week.

Visited for sun beds and drinks. Not bad but not amazing and service was terrible which gives it a lower mark to be honest. It’s ok and I wouldn’t say avoid but there are better along that stretch

We stumbled upon this place whilst exploring the excellent beach not crowded, not commercialised and very clean and this is the only place for food drinks on the whole beach. It’s been superbly thought out with solar panels for power, clean toilets,...outdoor and indoor seating, loungers, sofas, hammocks and cool lighting for evenings. The service was brilliant and the food...Wow! Stunning. You would not expect food of that quality in a place such as this we had fresh bread, Thai beef (be aware the beef is not cooked- but delicious), Avocado on Toast and the most Delicious (and massive) baguette sandwich! And the Nutella Crepe was stunning. We sat for hours watching the world go by...and drinking wine.... It’s a must visit place. We will be back
