Antonio's Tacos - Gualala

Hey, Yelpers! So sorry to tell you that Antonio's didn't make it. The tried but Gualala is had on new places.

Appears that this restaurant is closed. The phone number is disconnected and it looks closed from the outside.

We have loved Antonio's tacos since they were in their old location. The new location had better beers, table service and a great Mexican vibe. I still love the al pastor tacos.

Where 's the beef? After the first 5 star review, we returned and were disappointed with the encore. The food is still tasty, but for whatever reason, they were short on beef so the carne asada burrito came with mostly rice and beans and just a little beef. My wife 's tacos were likewise meat deficient. A word to the wise: if an ingredient is unavailable or in shortage, don 't offer the item customers will may understand. Skimping on a key component reflects badly. We 'll try again in a couple of months, but for now, its a generous 3 star.

The new improved Antonio's is just so-so. The food is ok, but prices are higher than before. No Taco Tuesday. The chips are not as good for some reason. And the dining room only has massive tables for 6-8 people, which is weird. Great views and friendly service.
