La Virgen de la Cueva - Guanajuato

The staff here was excellent, the setting is beautiful, but I can only say that it was so. it lacked a special character that they can often find in mexiko.

My wife and I chose this place to try something new. we know and like their sister restaurant in the center of the city. to make it short: we had excellent eating of an irresistible chocolate dessert. the wine selection was expensive, but excellent and the service top chain. for Mexican standards the prices are high, but for us “gringos” it was still a very good value. in sum: we will be back!

Beautiful interior design and professional service are great, but eating is even better. we had both salmon and thunfish and wonderful tacos. a great experience!

Me wife is Mexican and we visit Mexico often. We live in California and have been to many great Mexican restaurants. This was one of the prettiest, and the food was interesting and very good. It was excellent, and a good value. With drinks and...tip, it was under US.
