A&W Restaurant - Guelph

We enjoyed our visit. Teen burger with cheese and bacon was awesome. Fries good. Root Beer always excellent. My girlfriend paid!! What more can a guy ask for. We will be back.

In a hurry I go to A&W and ask for a burger and fries and pop while we are in drive through, when we got to the front there was only a burger no fries no pop.

Ready to close at 9 (all chairs on tables) but open til 10. Served politely, quickly and the food was good. Of course the root beer was great. Will do again.

If you are an American and expecting the normal fare from an A&W in the US you'll be disappointed. They have the root beer, burgers and chicken, but I didn't see any coney dogs on their menu and no cheese curds. They had sweet potato fries but there were not good, so I don't recommend those.

Located in the same plaza as the Cineplex Galaxy Cinema, it's a good place to go for burgers before or after a movie. They do burgers well and there is nothing like a A&W Root Beer in a frosted mug!They also are a venue on Tuesday night a a classic car cruising meetup.
