Hibachi Sushi Limited - Guelph

Even though it has Sushi in the name, the real stars here are the pad thai, beef with eggplant, the soups, and the amazing vegetable rice. I get the spicy pad Thai with added cashews nearly every week, and it's about 2 pounds of food! Really good balanced tastes and high quality chicken in abundance. It's really sad to see food that is 3 timed the quality of the China express across the plaza from it and the same price too get so little business. I recommend this place to all my friends. The bad reviews this place have are all people who have no clue what to expect or what to order, they should eat at McDonald's so they can have everything saturated in fat. Also, the chef and server are husband and wife and are always so friendly and courteous and they have their well behaved child often observing. Cute family.The atmosphere is like visiting another country with soothing flute music and amazing fresh food being prepared behind glass counters and tantalizing smells coming from the grill. Try it!

I eat here once a week. Favorite place too go. Highly recommended too go and eat at. Service is exceptional

Honestly the all you can eat is not good. We had some rolls - the rice was not very good quality. We also had hibachi salmon and eel don, which portion sizes were so tiny (3 fingertip sized pieces of eel, seriously.) The hibachi salmon including some veggies wasn't flavorful. The tuna, red snapper and salmon sashimi is the only things we generally liked here, and we were having a hard time liking other sashimi. Tempura was overdone. Overall, the all you can eat is not recommended. Hope their a la carte menu is better.

Stinks if oil smellShould not serve Hibachi. Chef does not have basic culinary skills of cutting chicken. Service was extremely slow. Hibachi food was served on unseasoned cold cast iron skillet? Making food cold rather than keeping it hot. Sushi was average quality. Please avoid this place if you are looking for thai or hibachi food for a sushi lovers family. Will never come back.

We have tried pretty much every sushi place in town, and this place is by far the best! Their service is quick and courteous, and the food is always fresh. The staff is very friendly and it's never too busy. Take out service is also very fast! I highly recommend.
