Little Guildford

Due to the business, they forgot our order/lost the docket after waiting for an hour. When it came, they gave us the wrong order and corrected it after more waiting. Coffee is always exceptional however the food was not. I ordered the truffle mushrooms as a vegan option and had 5 small mushrooms that had some unknown caramelised onion mixture on them with no truffle oil on thin sliced ciabatta that was too crusty. I substituted the eggs with avocado and wasn't charged for the swap so that was good. My partner had the vego breakfast and again swapped the eggs with the potato cake at no extra cost. Severely disappointed as previously I have been several times and the mushrooms were in abundance and beautifully truffled. As a place that was considered a favourite, I don't think that I'll come here again sadly. They were so busy that I didn't bother mentioning anything as it was difficult enough to talk to staff as it was.

We decided to go for lunch here as a treat out, we both had Eggs on Fire and boy were they on fire, tasty, the poached eggs beautifully runny, have eaten here for dinner too and no complaints, friendly service and not rushed.

Eggs Benedict was pretty nice although it didnt seem as though hollandaise sauce was home made. Girlfriend liked the itallian scrambled eggs and the coffee was nice. Good atmosphere and good service. Have to come back because the menu looks so good with so many good things on it.

What a gorgeous cafe! Really really enjoyed our breakfast. Tried the Truffle & Parmesan Mushrooms and Eggs. OMG. The perfect combination of perfectly poached eggs, tender flavoursome mushrooms, freshly shaved Parmesan, herby pesto goodness and strong lovely truffle oil. Party in my mouth! Pretty food presentation too! Em loved her Avo Smash, with the addition of feta and tomato. Nice strong coffee. Will be back

Nice little cafe which is good for a catch up with friends and family. We had brunch there and the food was great. The coffees was good with quality. The service was a bit slow though took a good 15-20 mins for the food to arrive. I would visit again.
