Perch - Gulf Shores

Overall, my experience was decent, but I had specific reservations for our honeymoon celebration. I made a special request for a sunset view from the deck, yet we were seated inside. To add to our disappointment, several walk-in guests were then seated at prime sunset viewing spots outside. It was frustrating to see our request overlooked like that. The food was average, and given the prices on the menu, I had higher expectations for both the variety and flavor.

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for any occasion, whether you're celebrating something special or simply wanting to enjoy a meal by the ocean. We opted for outdoor seating, which was quite comfortable, and the service we received was excellent. The food was exceptional as well. Considering the quality of the dining experience, I believe the prices are very reasonable.

I highly recommend spending an evening dining at this restaurant! The food and drinks were amazing, and our steak was cooked to perfection. The ambiance and the sunset view were absolutely breathtaking!

Perch is a LOVELY restaurant, and our server did his very best to accommodate special requests. That said, I had mentioned my husband's birthday within the booking and again at the host station, and nothing came of it. Our beautifully plated food was actually quite bland, and the price tag was high. And even though the restaurant was empty, we were given a table that was a tight squeeze for a party of 5. Had to ask for that extra setting, and we rearranged the furniture to accommodate our fifth. Lastly, my request for a decaf Italian coffee was met with all kinds of confusion, and it took extraordinary measures to acquire. What came wasn't dressed in the least, and there was no whipped cream on premises. Would return for drinks on the outside deck in a heartbeat, but likely won't return for dinner.
