Sloop - Gulf Shores

I visited The Sloop with a group of six people, and I couldn't have been happier with every aspect of our experience. I ordered a Bloody Mary that was quite impressive. My partner and I both chose the steak nachos, and we definitely made the right choice—no regrets there! You know how some nachos have all the toppings piled on top, leaving the bottom chips bare? Well, not here! These nachos were fantastic. Everyone in our group loved their meals. Our servers and bartenders were awesome—friendly and fun, which made our time there even better. The atmosphere really captured the essence of a dive bar, with a vibrant energy. Plus, it was a nice touch to see police and first responder patches displayed on the walls. As a group of off-duty police, fire, and EMS personnel from across the Gulf Coast region, we appreciated The Sloop's acknowledgment of our service. We will definitely be back!

The standout dish is definitely the Cheesesteak Sandwich, which was absolutely delicious! The food was a solid 5 out of 5. The service was friendly and attentive, earning a strong 4, while the atmosphere was inviting and pleasant, also rated at 4. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to enjoy a meal without breaking the bank!
