Captain Hook's - Gulfport

EXCELLENT service! We came to visit while in town from Memphis, and I'm so glad I did! The cashier was super patient with us, and our order was ready very quickly. Price was excellent and we had huge portions to take with us. I will be visiting again when we come back! Parking: Average sized parking lot even with a lot of people coming for carryout.

I can not say enough good things about this Captain Hooks. I come to Gulfport to visit family twice a year and this is an absolute must not miss each time I'm in town. I always get the shrimp poboy, fully dressed. The shrimp is perfectly fried and the bread is so nice and crusty on the outside but deliciously soft inside. The gumbo is probably the best I have ever tasted. In fact, I buy it cold so I can take it home put it in the freezer. The food is not the only reason I never fail to stop by. The folks who run the place are so nice and treat everyone with such courtesy. I highly recommend Captain Hooks

Great poboys and cheap as going and getting fastfood which isn't cheap anymore way more healthier

Chicken wings were delicious. Shrimp poboy was very good.

Went on vacation with my family. Googled this place and the reviews were great. We arrived and weren't impressed. Sticky table, flies all over our table while trying to eat. Couldn't peel the shrimp and took 30 minutes for us to even get it. I do not recommend. Way overpriced for what is served also!
