Samurai Japanese Cuisine - Gulfport

I like this sushi restaurant. Various types of sushi that you can usually get nowhere else. Would you recommend stopping when you are in the area. Good prices great place for appointments or couples not in the best area, but it is worth it. Servers are usually very nice.

I ordered the mushroom roll. It was very delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the teriyaki steak. It came with soup and salad. Everything was amazing. Definitely will be back when we visit again.

We always have a fantastic time in Samurai Sushi in Gulfport, Mississippi. You're the best in town. We always ordered food there because we wanted to try everything. Special rolls are big, grilled octopus is delicious and believe me when I say good?s really good. The place is very small and nothing has changed for 16 years, but why do you change it if it is not broken, right? Even we went there for lunch, we would stay 2 hours and have a great time. But they don't do the Poke well. If you want a great poke, you have to go to the samurai in DIberville, Mississippi. Thank you, Samurai. Golfport, Mississippi!!!

I visited another one of their locations years ago saying I would return. About 4 years later I did and it was wonderful. The rolls are huge and allow customization as wild as your heart can imagine. You won't need appetizers here, and if you do you'll need a to-go box.

It was a little bit of a wait, but we picked this up and were so pleasantly amazed with this food! The sushi rolls were beautiful, fresh, and yummy with great sauces. The teriyaki chicken, rice, and dumplings were perfect for the kiddos. The chicken was super moist! Everyone loved the egg drop soup. We should've got more for the kiddos! I can't remember what the Noodle dish was. We asked for it to be spicy and it was spot on! It was my favorite and it was the first dish gone. The fried rice was okay. Our batch was a little dry and bland. We added some of our own teriyaki sauce and it was perfect in the end. I would recommend asking for some teriyaki sauce in case your rice is a little dry, because it ended up being good! We are excited to go back!
