We booked Clancy's based on reviews & were looking for a special place with a nice atmosphere for our family to have a special dinner & celebrate our son's march-out from the ADF. Upon arrival the motel the restaurant is attached to seemed to be deserted & the car park was shrouded in darkness. Having never been here before, we were a bit concerned, especially as there were no signs indicating where the restaurant itself was. However after a wander we found reception & the restaurant. The dining room is very cosy & has lovely atmosphere, with an open fire place & a small bar in the corner. We were warmly greeted & found that the service was attentive & top notch all evening. Our daughter is a real steak lover & her comment after her first bite was 'Best steak in the entire world!'. My dad ordered the king fish (which was a special) & even though he has eaten some of the best king fish that Lorde Howe Island has to offer, he said his meal was even better than any of that. The good was absolutely faultless & we all really enjoyed our meals, we also enjoyed trying a bottle of delicious local wine. Amazing food, beautiful wine, great service & a beautiful atmosphere made our special family dinner truly unforgettable!

Cannot say enough about this restaurant! Staying at the adjoining motel, I initially ate here purely out of convenience. But wow, the food is sensational and the service is so friendly and welcoming.Of special note is the fillet steak with mushroom sauce - melt-in-the-mouth perfection!

Just had to say thankyou for a totally amazing dining experience. The service was exceptional and the meals were outstanding. I have eaten at some great restaurants in Sydney and Melbourne and Clancy's Restaurant is just so many levels above what I have experienced in the past. There are no words to describe how great the food is you just have to experience it for yourself. Thanks for a great night.

Attended this restaurant with a group of friends recently. The hosts were most welcoming which was followed by great service delicious food and a wonderful choice of wines. Thank you for making our night most enjoyable!!
