Bidra med feedbackSo much fun. Opens the front door and a warm afternoon sounds there. Lots of Dutch guys she told us. Helping with our route and what we could see. Nice. We felt very welcome. A mint... the car had to be on the road. Luckily, there was hardly anyone driving at night. So we didn't hear anything while we were sleeping on the road. Breakfast was super hot.
Stayed in the B&B for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Emma and Menno are terrific hosts, very caring and proactive in making your stay a great one. Breakfast is top notch and it was a perfect spot to base myself for exploring Snowdonia, including a walking trail to the pretty nearby Beddgelert, complete with rain gear kindly borrowed from Ty Mawr. Thanks again!
After lunch at the pub, I fancied a dessert and was delighted to see the tea room open. I called in and asked for two slices of their ‘Dutch Apple Tart’ to take away. The owner, who was there with her husband responded, ‘Sorry, we don’t have the capacity to do that!’ A somewhat bizarre reply, there was one other customer and I would have thought that placing two slices of tart into a paper bag or something similar, wouldn’t present too much of a challenge. I’ve eaten there a few times previously and have always enjoyed the food, despite being relatively small inside and with only two chairs outside, it has a pleasant ambience and thus I wouldn’t downgrade it simply because of this disappointment and I shall definitely return.
Great little cafe , with fab food , great dutch coffee , superb home made cakes and genuine people running the best cafe in north wales . but don’t tell everyone........a v special place
Out cycling through Snowdonia/Eryri with friends and in need of refreshments we happened across Ty Mawr Tea Room and what a great find. Hospitality was welcome and the food drinks just first class. So glad we stopped by, will definitely be seeing you again. Thank you
