Bidra med feedbackWe recently tried the all-you-can-eat buffet for dinner and it was absolutely delicious. The dishes were unique and some of the best we've ever had from a Chinese restaurant. The dragon garden steak, satay chicken, and garlic pork were standouts. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in Gladstone. We loved it.
Having recently moved to Gympie, we decided to try this restaurant based on its positive reviews. We ordered the duck in plum sauce and Singapore noodles, both of which were excellent. The food was served promptly and was hot and plentiful. My wife and I have traveled extensively in Asia, including China and Hong Kong, so we can recognize good Asian cuisine when we taste it. The owner/chef, who has 38 years of experience, took the time to personally speak with all the diners. Our young waitress was also friendly and eager to please. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant regularly.
Don't let them be fooled by the photos, because it doesn't look like that. the eating was very average and full of wounds, as another reviewer mentioned. Maybe it'd be better at the weekend. it was just hungry eating. the waiting staff was very good, so I gave two blows instead of one. I'd drive the dominos over the street before I come back.
That was quite disappointing. we went through gympie and stopped here for dinner. I was surprised how expensive the prices were, but I thought maybe it was good to justify it. the chicken maize soup was the most expensive I ever had. it was tasty, but was a very small serving for the price. Next was steamed dim sims, but I can't comment on how they never showed up. the water we asked is never there. the net has grown up and I thought the waitress would get teller and cute, but she just went away and went to cash to make drinks. After a few minutes, I approached her to ask. she apologises, but still hasn't done anything about it. I had to ask a second time, and we could start eating. the food was a farewell. we ordered chili huh, but there was no sign of chili in him at all and it was all quite bland.
Really great eating. on the way back to brisbane. had the early rolls, the tinless lemon chicken, sweet acidic pork and finally the special rice without the garnel. everything was absolutely delicious. the best Chinese food I've had for a long time.
