Surf N Salsa - Haleiwa

The food was excellent, but be aware of the wait time. We waited an hour for our meal, which apparently got misplaced. We overheard the kitchen staff mentioning that we should have asked about our order. The reason we didn't is that we wanted to be patient, given how busy they were. We were hoping for at least a sincere apology, but it felt rude to hear them discussing us while we were practically the only customers there. Since we speak Spanish, we understood everything they were saying. We recognize that mistakes happen, but the overall attitude was quite disrespectful.

The food is excellent, the service is simple and efficient, and the atmosphere is lovely.

Not Mexican food is more like Tex-Mex. Expensive. And no very friendly Burrito is good size though.

Hands down my favorite food in Oahu ! I got 3 street tacos. They were huge ! And FULL of flavor !! I really wanted to go back before we left the island but didn’t have time. I would eat here a couple times a week if I lived in Hawaii.

Hidden gem on the North Shore. We ate here a couple times during our visit to the island. Excellent fresh food with homemade tortillas. We had the verde burrito and pork nachos. Great flavor and large portions.
