Bidra med feedbackI personally feel like this grocery has the right business model going. The staff is alway engaging and smiling. Pricing is good and selection especially in the back deli is awesome
Peanut Butter Cup Jumbo Cupcake: I can't remember the last time I've had a cupcake, but when I saw these in the Festival Foods ad (only $1.50 on sale) I got hit with a craving, hard. The cupcakes in the bakery are massive (if you look in one photo it takes up my entire hand) and the employee actually had difficulty fitting it into a container. I normally go for vanilla over chocolate cupcakes, but I decided to make an exception since there were so many peanut butter components to it as well. I thought the chocolate cupcake itself was good, but nothing special. What turned me on was the peanut butter icing that was teeming with bits of crushed Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, a thick halo of peanut butter buttercream (best part in my opinion), and the mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cup topping it all off (there was also a lovely chocolate drizzle). In order to capture all of that in one bite I really had to work my jaw, but the effort was worth it. The bite that included the mini peanut butter cup was practically orgasmic. Only possible suggesting is to fill the chocolate cupcake with some peanut butter buttercream. I was still wowed by this beast of a cupcake, Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews
This store is bright, clean, and modern, with a wide selection for the size of the store. Staff are everywhere and very friendly, and specifically Dean belongs on the front page of the Festival website for not only excellent service but he’s also a total dilf too, he’s excellent Festival model material. Food is always fresh and is orders of magnitude tastier than anything near me in Illinois (yes, this is worth the 1 hour drive across a state line to shop at); I’ve seen people complain about higher prices at Festival’s stores compared to competitors, but you have to remember that you’re paying for better service and easier, cleaner shopping. My only wish is that they would add the in store cafe seen at West Allis and Greenfield, having Caribou hot chocolate and fresh Wisconsin popcorn is VERY nice on cold Wisconsin winter mornings
Love this store. Employees are very helpful and friendly. They have nice variety of rotating deli salads, sides, etc. This is the only place I get sliced deli meat from, it's not that gross, slimy over processed stuff.I really like the selection of frozen pizzas from various pubs restaurants around WI the WI wine selection. I'm happy to see their growth with more locations opened since this store opened. That tells you they're doing something right.
The store was very clean and well-organized. I was particularly impressed by the deli and fresh meat sections. Considering the prices for food, especially meat, they were quite reasonable. The fish, chicken, and ribs looked great. I recommend the roasted chicken, priced at $6.99 per pound; half a pound can feed about three people, depending on serving sizes. I also bought large shrimp for $6.99 per pound, and the fresh vegetables appeared vibrant and offered good options.
