Caffé Mezza Luna - Half Moon Bay

Caffe Mezzaluna is our meeting place for an afternoon coffee for me and hot tea for my wife whenever we? at Half Moon Bay. This small Italian café is a deposit of the prestigious Mezza Luna restaurant? Half moon? A few blocks away. I love strong black coffee and you're always freshly brewed. The Gelato is authentic and creamy and the handmade pastries are sinful decadent. Service was always fast, efficient and friendly. It's not just a place to get a quick coffee. The extensive menu offers everything from sandwiches, panini, pizza and salads to omeletts, pancakes and crepes. Look for the independent building in front of the most abandoned Harbor Village shopping centre on Capistrano Rd. and Hwy 1 in Princeton-by-the-Sea. There are many parking spaces in the adjacent property. We can usually find seating on the terrace, but there are also a few well spacious tables inside

Very good and recommended breakfast restaurant. Wide range of options and good tasting coffee, European standard. Prices are very fair and reasonable.

I?ve been coming here for years and the guys are kind, the breakfasts are great and I often succumb to my sweet tooth (individual portion fruit tartlets, cookies, gelato). This morning I had my usual double latte and their delicious green omelette (spinach, avo). I particularly like coming during quieter times, and their little courtyard is a nice place to sit outside! Highly recommend them.

I believe my pictures will speak for themselves. Not only is there a sandwich is extremely disappointing therefore lacking flavor but the fact that they believe they can sell you a so-called sandwich with basically minimal ingredients between the pieces of bread is ridiculous I paid $11 for two pieces of bread a piece of lettuce some extremely thin slices of tomato and what you could barely call a piece of turkey

It's a great Italian restaurant with great selection of dessert and bakery items. Perfectly located in the heart of Half-moon bay. Lemon Tart is one of the must try. we tried couple of other dessert items and we loved each one of them. Tiramisu pastry is also good choice, loved the food.
